  • Burro bananas are more squared in shape than common yellow bananas.  When ripe, the skin is yellow with black spots and the flesh is creamy white.  It has a tangy, lemon-banana flavor and is generally soft, getting firmer towards the center 
    • Product of United States Mexico and Ecuador 
    • Burro bananas have very little fat and are very low in calories. They are high in potassium and also contain a significant amount of magnesium. They also contain amounts of phosphorous, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, copper and selenium.
